Students receive targeted math instruction in preparations for the NYS Math exam.
This program teaches students important test taking strategies helping them prepare for the NYS standardized tests.
Through our ETM music teacher, students learn the fundamentals of keyboarding and learn how to express themselves through music.
Students learn how they can use their voices to make changes that can impact the world around them.
In this residency children design and create their own puppets. After creating their puppets, students work in groups to create a script and begin the puppet show production.
In this project based multimedia residency students use multimedia to gain technological skills and engage in creative exploration. Student discuss in their production teams the content of their film,write story boards and craft an original script.
We are thrilled to have the Girls Who Code program at 340. It is an international nonprofit organization that aims to support and increase the number of women in computer science.
Students Learn how to play board games and how to problem solve and strategize. As they progress, become the creator and create their own games.
We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Education Through Music (ETM) this year. Students receive music instruction each week which allows them to learn the history, composure and fundamentals of music.
In this after school club, students learn valuable social emotional skills such as collaboration, cooperation and perseverance.
Each week, students learn about what nutritious foods are and how those foods help their body. They get hands-on experience preparing and eating the food they have learned about that week!

Students have the opportunity to learn the skills and strategies of fencing during this unique afterschool program.
Ballet Hispanico empowers students to express their personal experiences through improvisation, movement creation and/or the practice of Latinx dance forms.
Students learn the basics of basketball with our very own Coach Lalama during this morning program.
Our 4th & 5th graders had the wonderful opportunity to learn how to ballroom dance through the program Dancing Classrooms. They had a culminating event to show off their amazing dancing skills. Click below to watch!
