Students must wear approved face covering throughout the entire building. Face coverings must cover the mouth AND nose. NO gaitors or bandanas. Students will remove their mask for lunch and an outside mask break. Children will get a mask if they forget one at home. Face shields can be worn in ADDITION to to a mask.
Everyone must maintain 6 feet of social distancing at all times. Markers will be placed in hallways, outside and in other common areas where students will line up to keep everyone socially distanced. Hallways and stairs will be designated one wayStudents will be seated socially distant from others in the classroom.
Bathrooms will be marked off for social distancing. Staff will be assigned outside the hallway bathrooms to be sure students are socially distancing and the max occupancy is adhered to.
Students must conduct proper hand hygiene by frequently washing hands and/or applying hand sanitizer. Shaking hands, high fives, hugging etc. are discouraged.
Symptomatic Individuals
Students who feel or become ill while in the building should be sent to the Nurse’s office immediately
To ease large groups and maintain proper social distancing, students who are coming to school in person will have adjusted arrival and dismissal times by grade. Students will enter and be dismissed from various exits to avoid crowding. Click below for more details.
Students must be prepared to undergo random daily temperature checks. If an individual presents a temperature of greater than 100.0°F and/or is symptomatic, the individual must be denied entry into the facility or sent directly to a dedicated area prior to being picked up/sent home.
Students will have an instructional lunch in the classroom each day at their own desk. Students will remove their masks to eat and put them back on when they are finished. Each class will have a scheduled recess break where students will be taken outside weather pending.
Due to new guidelines and safety procedures, we will NOT have our before school breakfast drop off at 7:50-8:05am. ALL students must arrive to school at the scheduled arrival times (see above). All students will receive a breakfast in the classroom bag as they enter the building each morning.
To maintain the safety of our students and staff, visitors will be limited. Most meetings with parents will be done through phone or zoom. Mandatory in person meetings will require an appointment. Anyone who enters the building must wear a face mask AT ALL TIMES and are subject to temperature checks.
