Middle School Application Deadlines

- October 9: Middle School application opens!
- October 15: Middle school application opens after school hours
- November 8:Deadline to register to test for Mark Twain I.S. 239 and District 21 Talent Tests.
- December 20: Middle School application closes
- April 9th: Middle School offer release
Welcome Letters and Account Creation
Welcome letters will be available for your current students the week of September 30th. These letters contain student account creation codes and instructions for families to set up MySchools accounts (myschools.nyc).
We will send you an email once the application is available on MySchools.nyc.
Open Houses
Middle School Open House flyers will be posted here. Be sure to check the 5th grade page regularly for more application information!
Virtual Admissions Event
All NYC families of current fifth-grade students are invited to join us for a live virtual information session about applying to middle school. After the presentation, we'll respond to your questions. Each event will be virtual, so you can join from anywhere!
During each online event, we will discuss:
- How to access your MySchools.nyc account.
- How to learn about your child's middle school options.
- How to apply and how offers are made.

PS 340 student handbook
Remote Day for Students Monday, January 26th
School will be REMOTE on Monday, January 26th. Families can login to their child’s Google Classroom to join their teacher’s zoom link. Students are expected to join their zoom at 8:30am to meet with their teacher.
